  4. I see the reference now - I actually bought ARK from the US.
    A strange and beautiful work. Somewhere between Zukofsky's 'A',and his '80 Flowers'); a nod to various of the modernist/postmodernist poets/artists; and to (and Milton or Herbert), and - not sure - it's like a kind of magical word music composition like Joyce's "Finnegan's Wake"...

    Joyce ("Just read it as if it is a huge poem.") Also ARK -

    Science into mystery amd music...

    Actually at a strange remove it reminds me also of Alan Sondheim's strange (but much vaster) work - at times... see the link on my Blog...

    And he "references" all sorts of things - I just saw an obvious ref to WCW's
