The Saint's Notebook by Kate Schapira

I just ordered this beautiful chapbook. You should too. It's beautifully handbound in burlap, in a ltd. edition of 74.

Support the small presses!

If you have any other chapbooks you reckon I'd like, I'd love to hear about them. I'm on a big micro-press chapbook buzz at the moment.

Have you ever read anything by Cannibal? I think that you might like much of their catalogue (and they usually link to their poets work on the web, so you can sample before you purchase).

All of their books are handmade and quite gorgeous in a very minimal, diy way. Also, their journal is handmade and quite wonderful!

I've just ordered the Thomas Hummel and Bronwen Tate Chaps.

Thank you for the shout out and kind words! We are happy you like it.

And I'm happy you published it :)

Ross, I hope you like it! I read your comments on Johannes G.'s blog sometimes. I second that Cannibal recommendation -- they're terrific.

Portable Press at Yo-Yo Labs has another book by me (if you like this one) and lots of other books that are bizarre and surprising and evidential.

The Tract Series from Eohippus Press is good if you're interested in discursive, essay-ish stuff. Greying Ghost, horse less press, Corollary Press, Kitchen Press -- all reliably good. (I'm ashamed to say I mostly know US ones. That's what I get for being provincial.)

Hope you find lots of treats. I'll probably think of more as soon as I post this.

I Love the chap - It's gorgeous. I emailed cannibal about ordering the two chaps I mentioned above, but they haven't got back to me. Its a pity. Ive read some of Bronwen's stuff on line and really liked it.

I'll look into the other presses, most definately.

I've also just ordered the Alice Notley that Rain Taxi have published, and am eagerly awaiting it's arrival.
